Dr. Csaba Krasznai was born in Eger, Hungary. He graduated from Debrecen Reformed Theological University, Hungary in 1998 earning a Master of Divinity degree. After his theological studies, he was awarded a scholarship from the Dr. Tibor Chikes Memorial Foundation to study at the Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. Dr. Krasznai earned a Master of Theological Studies degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude. During that time, he was also the co-pastor of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Washington, D.C. where he served with the late Rev. Dr. Imre Bertalan.
After his scholarship studies, Dr. Krasznai served in the Hungarian United Church of Toronto, Canada, first as a supply pastor and later as senior pastor. After his assignment as the supply pastor in the Toronto church came to an end, he returned to Budapest to the Gazdagret Reformed Church where he served as an assistant pastor. Dr. Krasznai was also engaged with the Campus Crusade for Christ in Hungary. He served in the Jesus Film project.
In 2003 Dr. Krasznai began his pastoral ministry at the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Cleveland, Ohio. In 2007 he began his Doctor of Ministry studies at Ashland Theological Seminary, Ashland, OH. He earned his doctoral degree in January of 2010. Dr. Krasznai is married to Beata, and they have three children.
